The Senior Golf Association of Northern California is a non-profit organization of amateur golfers from regular clubs (golf course property) stretching from San Luis Obispo County to the Oregon border.  This 350 member organization was the first senior golf association in California.  It is the oldest Amateur club in the Western United States. The SGANC is steeped in tradition.  Dating back to 1929 when the first championship was played.  We play two tournaments a year, the club championship in May and a partnership four ball in September.  Eighteen Govenors from various areas of Northern California conduct the affairs of the organization.  Club headquarters are located in the NCGA Office at Poppy Hills Golf Course in Pebble Beach.

                                               "BAD NEWS”

San Joaquin Country Club has experienced extensive damage to the greens and their Board of Directors has made a decision effective April 1, 2008 that they must be replaced immediately. Therefore it is necessary to cancel all tournament events.
 "GOOD NEWS”
Fort Washington has made available at this late date their entire facility and thus we will be able to play a wonderful golf course for both days of the tournament.  If you have not played Fort Washington you may be interested in their web site:  www.fortwashingtoncc.org.
The schedule will be exactly as was mailed to you a few days ago with registration beginning at 11:00 A.M. at Fort Washington, lunch and a 12:30 Shotgun start.
Send in your entry or click Register Now below and enter immediately as we will limit the field to a maximum of 128 players.
The tournament committee looks forward to seeing you at Fort Washington. We know that you may have been looking forward to playing San Joaquin C.C., however we can assure you of a very enjoyable and memorable tournament experience at “The Fort”.
